If you sew, this looks like an easy project.  They are collecting pillowcase dresses to send to girls in Uganda.  The dresses are cute (they don't look like a pillowcase when they're done), and they provide the pattern for you to use (but you can trim it however you like). Knit a Hat - Save a Life

A friend of mine brought in some things she made to a Christmas swop we were having. "Can't you use those as gifts for someone?" I asked.
